Wait and Hope

"Wait and Hope" by 'mightbewriting', is a wonderful Dramione fan fiction. Must read it, at least once.

REVIEW (Spoiler Alert): Though the story started off with a common 'memory loss' trope, I liked it from the beginning. I loved Hermione and Draco's crammed apartment, and my imagination ran wild thinking about the stacks of books they would potentially have lying around. That green velvet couch that was one of the highlight of the story from the very beginning, felt like another important character in the fan fiction.

The story set itself apart in terms of how Hermione didn't remember her past as time went by. She actually managed to fall in love with Draco all over again, with no help from the person she once was. She discovered herself again and Draco was so infinitely patient that I loved being able to read their journey.

Also, Draco repeatedly tried to read 'The Count of Monte Cristo' despite not liking it just because it was Hermione's favourite book and this touched me so very much.

Another highlight of the story is the relationship that Hermione shares with the former Slytherins. As Theo himself mentioned, he came over and didn't treat Hermione like all the others had. I simply adored Theo! And Pansy! While she really doesn't value boundaries like most people do, she and Theo did help Hermione and Draco get closer. I only wish I'd read more of Theo and Blaise's flirtation and their relationship.
